Best French Onion Soup
1 1/2 lbs. onions,(3 large or 6 cups) thinly sliced
1/2 cup margarine
3 10oz. cans condensed beef broth
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
2 french rolls, sliced and toasted
grated parmesan cheese

 

Cook onions in margarine until lightly browned, about 20 minutes. Add beef broth and worcestershire sauce, bring to a boil. Season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle toast with parmesan cheese and place under the broiler until cheese is lightly browned. Pour soup into bowls and float toast slices on top. Makes 6 to 8 servings. ENJOY!!!
