Bread Ball Soup One of Mama's Special Recipes! |

2-3 quarts chicken broth 1 onion, chopped fine 2 large carrots, cut fine 1/2 cup celery, chopped **You may add chopped parsnip, potato, or peas and cook together in the broth until the veggies are done.
Bread Ball Mixture: 1 loaf Day-Old Bread, grated fine 3 eggs, beaten 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 cup melted butter 1 rounded Tbls. flour 1/2 cup chicken broth

Add melted butter, beaten eggs and broth to dry ingredients. Mix Well. Mixture should be just moist enough to hold together.
Form into balls, about the size of walnuts. Drop into boiling broth. When balls float to the top, they should be done.
