French Onion Soup-The Best
6 Beef boullion cubes
6 cups of water
3 large cloves of minced garlic
1/4 cup of red wine
1 tsp. of black pepper
1-2 large red onions (sliced)
3 cups of croutons
6 thinly sliced pieces of mozzarella cheese (approx. 2.5x3 inches)

In a large sauce pan add onions, garlic, red wine, and pepper. Cover and cook at medium to high until onions become transparent (stirring ocassionally).

Add water and boullion cubes, reduce heat to medium to low and simmer for 20-25 minutes.

Serve in a onion soup bowl, pour soup until bowl has 1/8 inch from the top, place croutons on top and place cheese over top of the bowl.

Place bowl in oven at broil until cheese is melted (approx 2-3 min).
Caution bowl is very hot!

*Note if soup is too weak add 1 or 2 more boullion cubes to taste.

Place fresh parsley on top for visual appearance if desired.

Enjoy!
