Gramma's Vegetable Beef Soup

1 pkg. Short Ribs of Beef 1/2 Vidalia onion 2 Celery Stalks 3 Carrots Fresh Parsley (palm full) 1 Can of Whole Tomatoes(up to 1Lb.) 1 Can Beef Broth G. Washington Rich Brown Seasoning Small package of Mixed Vegetables 1 tsp. sugar

Rinse Beef, trim excess fat.
Fill pot just above ribs, bring to boil. Add onion, celery, carrots- reduce to medium heat.
Add parsley, beef broth, sugar, G. Washington seasoning, tomatoes (crush with hand, add remains of sauce in can).
Bring back to a boil, then reduce heat to med/low. Cover, set timer for 2 hours, stirring every 20 minutes.
In the last five minutes, add mixed vegetables, bring to boil, reduce.
Remove meat and throw out bones- trim extra grizzle- toss back in soup.
Enjoy! Great with a nice loaf of warm Italian Bread!
