Grampa's Creamy Ham and Potato Soup

6 Medium size potatoes, peeled and cubed small Water 2 cups diced ham (use ham roast or ham slice, etc.) 1 medium size onion, diced 1 cup carrots, sliced thin 1 medium green pepper, diced 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine 2 cans Cream of Mushroom Soup 1 can Cream of Celery Soup Garlic Salt, Pepper, and seasoned Salt (use to suit your taste) 1 1/2 cups milk

Boil potatoes in a large pot with just enough water to cover the potatoes. (Do not drain potatoes after boiling.) Cook onions, green pepper, and carrots with butter in microwave until tender about 2-3 minutes. Add all ingredients to cooked potatoes and stir until combined well. Cover, reduce heat to low, and cook for 20 to 30 minutes. If thinner soup is desired, add milk in 1/4 cup increments until desired consistency. DO NOT HAVE HEAT TOO HIGH, OR SOUP WILL SCORCH AND STICK!
Enjoy with croutons or crackers!
