Quik-n-Easy Bean & Onion Soup Fast Delicious Soup! |

1 15oz. can Great Northern Beans 1 medium white onion 1 cup water 1/8 tsp. salt, pinch 1 Tbls. (Rounded) Bacon Bits 1/8 tsp. Badia All Spice, Optional

Bring water to boil in a 2-Quart or larger sauce pan.
Meanwhile chop onion into cube-size pieces. Add the onion pieces and undrained beans to the boiling water, and the bacon bits and spice.
Turn down to simmer and let stand for 10-15 minutes. Remove from heat.
Serving Suggestion: Serve with French or Cuban Bread sliced thick and coated with garlic butter. Place under broiler to toast for 2-3 minutes. For Garlic Butter, mix butter or margarine with garlic powder to taste. This can be kept in a sealed container in the refrigerator for 2-4 weeks.
With a green salad on the side, this makes a terrific lunch!
