Shiitake Soup
Japanese Soup
2/3 lb. (300g) pork
3 cups soup from boiling pork (or Chicken broth)
3 Shiitake (raw)
3 1/2 oz. (100g) bean sprouts
1/3 oz. Harusame (bean thread)
2 Tbls. Sake
1 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Pepper

 

1. Place pork stock or chicken broth into refrigerator to cool. Once cooled, remove coagulated fat.

2. Remove the stalk of the mushroom. Wash bean sprouts

3. Place harusame in hot water as directed on the package. Put pork stock or chicken broth in a pan. Add shiitake, beansprouts, harrusame, salt, sake, and pepper for taste. Serve hot.
