Smokey Cheese Soup

4 C chicken broth, 1 C velveeta, 1 C smoked cheddar, 1 C half and half, 1 C water, 1/2 tsp black pepper, 1/2 tsp minced onion, 1 stick (1/4 lb) butter.

Combine cheeses, half and half, butter and water. Melt slowly on medium heat, stirring frequently. Add chicken broth once melted. Add black pepper and minced onion. Cook on medium heat (or in a crock pot) until hot.
