Dry Rub
Kansas City Style BBQ Spareribs Dry Rub
Dry Rub Ingredients.

3/4 Cup Dark Brown Cane Sugar, packed
1/2 Cup Smoked Paprika
2 Tablespoons Course Ground Black Pepper
2 1/2 Tablespoons Course Ground Salt
1 Teaspoon Celery Seed
1 Tablespoon Onion Powder
1/2 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper

Mix all of the dry rub ingredients together in a large mixing bowl.

Sprinkle 1/2 of the mixture onto the raw spareribs. Cover and place in refrigerator and let sit for a few hours before grilling. If possible refrigerate the ribs overnight. Remove the ribs from the refrigerator 1/2 hout before grilling. Sprinkle 1/4 of the dry rub mixture onto the ribs and you are ready to grill or smoke your ribs. Use the rest of the dry rub at the table for an extra kick to your KC style bbq spareribs!

Enjoy.
