Farmhouse Cabbage

Savoy Cabbage or Green Cabbage
Sliced mushrooms
Diced onions
Julienne of Pepper
2oz. Butter
Seasoning
1/2 pint Water
|
Place butter into a very large pan and slowly melt then add the water.
Place the cabbage, mushrooms, peppers and onions into the pan and on a low heat simmer all ingredients with the lid on until there is still a slight bite in the centre.
Serve with a roast dinner or just with mashed potatoes.
