Lin's Beans Baked Beans |

1/2-1 pound bacon, chopped 1 medium onion, chopped 3/4 cup brown sugar 1 cup ketchup 2 large cans of pork and beans
|
Fry bacon until crisp.
Add onion and cook until soft.
Add beans.
Add brown sugar, the amount may vary, depending on how sweet you want the beans. Add ketchup, this amount may vary also, depending on the liquid content in the beans. Stir together and let simmer for several hours.
The beans can be served right away, but the longer they cook, the thicker they become and more flavorful.
