Prune-Okra Casserole A favorite Thanksgiving side-dish! |

1-1/2 cups sliced okra 12 pitted prunes, diced 1 green pepper, seeded and diced 1/4 chopped white onion 2 tablespoons Wesson oil 2 cups Hellmann's Mayonnaise 1/-1/2 cups prune juice 2 tsp. granulated sugar 1 tbsp. flour bledned with 1 tbsp. warm water 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper

Boil okra and diced prunes for 10 minutes in salted water, then drain. Brown onion and green pepper in Wesson oil. Add prune juice and cook slowly for 5 minutes. Add Okra/Prune mixture and remaining ingredients. Cook over low heat for another five minutes.
