Quick Harvard Beets

|
3/4 cup sugar 2 tsp cornstarch 1/3 cup vinegar 1/3 cup water (cold)
|
Mix ingredients over low heat until it starts to thicken.
Drain a regular size can of beets. Put beets in sauce and stir thoroughly until heated through. Add 3 tbsp butter, stiring and heat thoroughly before serving.
