Yams Louisiana Baked Yam Casserole |

6 medium yams 1 cup orange juice 1 Tbls. dark brown sugar 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 cup melted butter 1/2 cup raisins

Boil yams with skins on for 30 minutes. Drain and cool.
Mix juice, sugar, cinnamon, salt, and butter together. Peel yams and slice 1/2 inch thick. Layer yams and raisins in a 12x9x2 inch baking pan.
Add juice mixture. Cover with foil. Bake at 325 degrees F. for 1/2 hour. Baste occasionally. Enjoy!
