ANDHRA PESARAT Special Green Gram Pan Cake |

250 grams of Green gram with husk. 100 grams of Rice flour. 250 grams of Refined oil or Clarified Butter (ghee). 4 Onions - Very finely chopped. 8 Green chillies- very finely chopped. 3 spoons Very finely chopped Ginger. Salt to Taste.

Soak the Green Gram over night. Wash and pulverize adding salt, some chopped green chillies and a spoon of ginger pieces. Add Rice flour and some salt to taste. Prepare a medium thick dough.
Put a flat pan on the stove. Add oil or ghee (as the taste may be) and heat. With the help of a big spoon spread thinly 2-3 spoons of dough on the pan and sprinkle one small spoon each of onion, green chilly and ginger pieces. Add liberal quantity of oil or ghee to the Green gram pan cake and fry on both sides. In this way prepare as many pan cakes as the dough lasts.
SERVE HOT WITH SWEET & HOT SAUCE.
