CURD VADALU
Black gram Vadas Soaked in Curd
250 grams of Black Gram (with out husk).
350 grams of Refined oil.
2 liters thick curd.
1 cup chopped onions.
1/2 cup chopped Green Chillies.
Salt to taste.
Finely chopped Coriander leaves.

 

Soak the green gram over night. Wash and pulverize into a very thick dough. Add onions, green chillies and enough salt and prepare four inch wide and one inch thick circular discs.

Put a deep bottomed pan on the stove, add refined oil and boil. Fry the black gram discs in the oil until they are ripe gold in color.

Beat the curd vigorously and add the fried discs to it. Spread the coriander leaves on the top. Allow to settle and soak for 1 hour.

SERVE ALONG WITH RICE.
