Khichadi Bachelor's Cooking Dish |

100 gms Basmati Rice(I like Basmati Rice) 50 gms Mung Dal 5 gms Turmeric powder 3 gms of Asofotedia 3 gms of cummin seeds 5 gms of mustard seeds 4 tablespoons of vegetable oil 500 ml of water salt and pepper according to taste
|
1. Heat the oil in the Pressure cooker.
2. Then add the asofodedia, mustard seeds and the cummin seeds. 3. Once you hear the cracking sound of the mustard seeds, add the rice and Mung dal and stir well.
4. Then add 500 ml of water into the mixture and heat them on a low flame till all the rice and dal is cooked. 5. Serve hot with some Mexcian beans.
