500 Grams of fresh Okra 200 Grams of Refined oil 6 Whole Red Chillies 6 Garlics-slightly mashed 1 Spoon Red Chilly powder 1 Spoon Mustered seeds 1 Spoon Turmeric powder 1 Spoon Black gram-without husk Salt to Taste

Wash the Okra and cut them into thin slices. Before cutting okra, apply oil to the cutting knife so that the glue of okra does not stick to it.
Add oil to a frying pan and heat. Add mustered seeds, black gram, garlics and the red chillies and saute well.
Add the sliced okra, red chilly powder, turmeric powder and sufficient salt and continue to fry on medium flame until the whole quantity is reduced to almost half and turn into dark brown.
Good with rice and pancakes!
