Pasta and Vegetable Bake
Ingredients:
750g. Pasta (penne)
500g. Shredded tasty cheese
2 eggs
1 liter Milk
300ml. Thickened cream
Salt and pepper to taste
Butter
2 cups mixed, sliced vegetables

 

Method:
Place uncooked pasta and sliced vegetables in a deep oven dish.
Mix cream and eggs together in a large bowl, slowly add milk. Stirring.
Pour mixture over pasta and vegetables. Sprinkle the top of the dish with the cheese. Cut butter into slices and place over the top of dish, cover with foil. Cook in moderate oven for approximately 1 hour, then remove the foil, cook further ½ hour or until pasta is soft and top is brown.

Vegetables can be omitted for just a pasta bake.


Preparation Time: 20 mins cooking time 1.5 hours Serves: 4-6
