Thanksgiving Sweet Potatoe Casserole
Sweet Potato Holiday Recipe - EZ no brainer
6-8 Sweet potatoes peeled and cut
Pancake Syrup
Water
Brown Sugar
Butter
Marshmallows (optional)
cinamon (also optional)

 

Cut up some raw, peeled sweet potatoes. About 3 sweet potatoes per person.
Slice them any way you want to.

Put in casserole dish and cover with a mixture of: pancake syrup, about 12 ounce bottle; sprinkle with 1 1/2 cups brown sugar; then cover with water.

Add cinamon if you want to - then
Dot with butter throughout.

Let it bake at 350 degrees for about an hour. Stir occasionally.

* If serving diabetic holiday revelers, use sugar free pancake syrup!

This is totally a vegetarian side dish and perfect with fake turkey at holiday time!

Check them every 15 minutes, and taste test them after the first 65 minutes. Add more sugar if you want. Serve when they are nice and soft!!!!
During the last 5 minutes or so you can top with marshmallows if you are into that sort of thing!
