Vegetarian Chopped Liver

3-4 handfuls walnuts 3-4 large onions 5 eggs green lentils 1 tsp. oil salt and pepper
|
Grind walnuts in food processor. Sautee onions. Cook lentils for 45 minutes with 1 teaspoon oil and salt and pepper, until lentils are soft. Hardboil eggs then discard two yolks. Mix walnuts, onions and eggs with lentils in food processor and add salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with vegetables and serve on bed of lettuce.
