I found what I believe to be some kind of baking pan, but it is unusual looking. It is like a muffin pan - for 1/2 doz. - but the cups are rounded - that is, ball shaped but shallow like just the top 1/4 of a ball. Two of the cups have a leaf pattern, two have a shell pattern, and two are plain. It is stamped with "Minute Maid" and "made in US America".
The S.O. thinks it is some kind of jello or popsicle mold, but I am not ready to agree yet.
Any guesses or educated opinions?

IT is called down here a Gem scone patty pan,
Feel happy I joined this forum just so I could answer your request!

A belated Thank You here. I thought perhaps it might have something to do with scones. Glad my hunch was right. Sorry that I never posted a pic - had some computer problems about that time.[/img]

Does everyone else get hungry everytime they come here?
I'm so glad someone was able to tell you what kind of pan that was. It's frustrating to have something, know it's not what others have said it is, but be unable to find it's true use.
Now I have to go buy a scone pan. I'm suddenly craving scones and aebleskivers.
I need to make a trip to Solvang *smiles*
